this was my GCSE final painting!!
and it was verrryy small
about 15cm X 17cm (6" X 7")

so yeh, it was done in my art exam, so i had 10 hours to do it

i am pretty pleased with it really:)

Well i was thinking of how you would go about painting gold serving plates or something. I guess cymbals are good practice. Was it from memory or a set up everyone did?

i did it from a photo and i had the actually cymbals there for reference
but it was nearly all from the photo.

okay this really IS amazing. because the way that you captured the light on cybals makes it look so real, and the thingys.. er.. you know on cymbals they have those like... bumpy lines going all the way round lol, well you did that like.. amazingly especially seeing as the painting is so small, i cant even EXPRESS how good this is.. ignore the fact that i already have ... .. . . . xxxx
